In reply to <a href="https://www.streetrodplans.com/how-to-build-street-rod-frame/#comment-894">Paul Taylor</a>.

Sounds like a fun project, Paul. Not knowing what you plan to do with your project, I would recommend the frame and chassis DVD set for a few reasons.
1. When you see the methodical way in which Bob goes about building a chassis and when you hear his explanations of why he does certain things a certain way you'll be able to look at the chassis you have from a more knowledgeable perspective and can intelligently decide if there are things you'd like to modify, change or upgrade.
2. I find the greatest value in Bob Hamilton's DVDs is that being able to follow his narrative you begin to see how he thinks through each step in a street rod build and you can then apply the same critical thinking to whatever you're doing and will be able to save untold time and frustration that would occur otherwise.
Thanks for asking, Paul. All the best with your Model A Phaeton project and Best Wishes for the New Year!

I am starting a 1931 Model A Phaeton Project. I am thinking about buying the DVD set. What would be your recommendation? It looks like valuable information but I have a steel body and an upgraded frame and suspension already. It is an older upgrade but not original.

Thanks.
